On May 29th, the state of Nevada entered Phase 2 of the Nevada United Road to Recovery plan.  During this phase, our establishment continues to be open for shopping, while our organized play area remains inoperative in compliance with ongoing social distancing requirements.

Given that the directives between the two phases are nearly identical, the guidelines, restrictions, and best practices established in Phase 1 remain in effect. When visiting our shop during Phase 2, we ask that you please be aware of the policies outlined below: your compliance will help us safeguard the health of our Wizarding Team and fellow customers.

We are operating on a reduced schedule: 10 AM to 8 PM Monday through Saturday and 10 AM to 6 PM on Sundays. We will adjust these times if necessary based on flow of traffic and the needs of our clients.

Curbside service will remain in effect for those customers that prefer to maintain an increased level of distancing: please call our shop in advance if you plan on using this service so that we may provide you with a personalized shopping experience before you arrive. Contactless at home delivery has been suspended for the time being.

While visiting our shop, please observe the following precautions for your safety and the safety of those around you:

  • Wash your hands for 20 seconds or more before handling any merchandise. One of our washrooms will be kept with easy access so that you may utilize it upon entering our building.
  • Both the CDC and we highly encourage you to wear a face covering while interacting with our Wizarding Team or the public. We have a small amount of masks available for purchase if you need one or have forgotten yours at home and would prefer to wear one.
  • Maintain a minimum of 6 feet between you and others at all times.
  • In order to facilitate social distance for members of our team manning the checkout area, only one checkout station will be operational at any given time. Please be patient and maintain your distance in the checkout lane.

Again, in-shop-play will not resume during this phase: we will continue to follow state, county and city directives in this matter; along with specific guidelines from each publisher for their organized play programs.

If you are feeling in any way under the weather, or may have been in contact with someone affected, please take steps to quarantine yourself and request professional medical assistance to ascertain the exact nature of your illness.

We thank you for your continued support and patience during this time: keep calm, follow recommendations and game on. For all the latest updates follow us on Facebook and Twitter.

John here, speaking on behalf of the Wizards and Goblins of the Little Shop of Magic. I would like to take a moment to address the current COVID-19 outbreak in relation to how it affects our shop, staff, players and customers.

The health and safety of our fans and employees ranks as our top priority; as such, we are increasing our cleaning and disinfecting efforts to further diminish the potential of this outbreak. We have added additional sanitizing stations for general use, just remember the most effective way to fight the spread of COVID-19 is by washing your hands with SOAP and WATER for 20 seconds or more. If you are unable to engage with others during this period, and would like to purchase something to pass the time; we will be happy to offer curbside pickup: just call us, message us on social media, or use our website’s live customer support feature to have it arranged. Additionally, we are offering a limited at home delivery service if you are confined: please contact us for details.

While we will do everything in our power to minimize the impact this has on your enjoyment of our venue, we would like to ask for your help in reducing risks of contamination. Here are a few ways in which you can assist:

  1. While in the shop and elsewhere in public, remember to wash your hands frequently (particularly before eating), and to cover your mouth and nose with your elbow if coughing or sneezing. If you do cough or sneeze, please wash your hands before handling products or fixtures, to reduce chances of contamination.
  2. Don't touch your face, particularly your eyes, nose, mouth.
  3. If you are feeling in any way under the weather, or may have been in contact with someone affected, please take steps to quarantine yourself and request professional medical assistance to ascertain the exact nature of your illness.
  4. Private room rentals will remain offline for the foreseeable future.
  5. Board game rental returns will be quarantined for a minimum period of 72 hours being returned to the library
  6. For the time being, we will continued to run a limited schedule of events but will continue to monitor federal and state health agency for recommendations and will adjust accordingly should the situation change.

If you have any other questions or concerns, please be sure to reach out to us directly.
