What Happens Here?

Can’t make it to Indianapolis for Gen Con 2019? As an official Pop-Up Gen Con host, we'll bring the convention experience to Las Vegas!

What is the Format?

Pop-Up Gen Con will function as a mini-convention. We'll host tons of demos and games for you to try out during the 'best four days in gaming' and partner publishers will provide us with exclusive demo copies of new games debuting at Gen Con for you to try in our shop!

Are There Prizes?

We have a number of promotional items and games that will be handed out to participants during game sessions or raffled off after the conclusion of Pop-Up Gen Con. Please stay tuned for further details.

What do I Bring?

Everything needed to play will be provided for you by our Wizards and our partner publishers. If you registered and hold a commemorative Po-Up Gen Con badge, don't forget to bring it: while a badge is not necessary to play in our Pop-Up Gen Con events, badge holders are entitled to priority seating.

What Is Pop-Up Gen Con?

Pop-Up Gen Con brings the Gen Con convention experience to our shop! We’ll have exclusive demo copies of new games debuting at Gen Con, so you can play and pre-order convention-release games before they hit the market! In the pilot year of the program, activations will occur at 40 participating stores this August 1-4, and will feature a host of demos and other exicting events.
