|The Colonial Legions make up the majority of the UCMA’s vast manpower and almost all of its fighting soldiers. The average Colonial Legionnaire is reasonably well trained and equipped with basic but well proven kit.
These brave men and women form the beating heart of the UCMA and must face untold horrors in the name of humanity, armed only with a rifle, pistol and bayonet. What they lack in advanced equipment they make up for in determination, courage, and above all, numbers.
Each legion is a gargantuan formation at over a million fighting men strong; however, deployment en-mass does not normally occur. The UCM sells the lives of its soldiers dearly and as such they are usually mechanised and deployed at platoon level. This provides them with the protection, speed, and tactical flexibility necessary to prevail in fast-paced warfare.
