In October Bandai America is releasing 3 different collectible tins for its Naruto Shippuden CCG. Each collectible tin comes with a promo card and four booster packs. One booster pack will be from Series 16: Broken Promise, while a second will come from Series 17: Will of Fire. Each tin will also contain two booster packs from Series 18: Fangs of the Snake.

Q2 Loss at $51.6 Million

Sales at the Borders Group continued to decline in the second quarter of 2010 falling from $617 million in 2009 to $526 million, an 11.5% drop. Given the fact that 2009 was such a bad year, the bookseller’s Q2 performance looks even worse when compared with the same period in 2008 when the chain’s sales totaled $945 million.

 

Operating losses increased from $45.1 million in the same quarter in 2009 to $51.6 million or nearly 74 cents per share.

Fantasy Flight Games has released more details concerning its Deathwatch Collector’s Edition, which will be strictly limited to 2,000 copies worldwide. Housed in a hefty metal ammo crate embellished with elaborate ornamentation and fastened by a librarian’s key and chain, the specially-bound Deathwatch Core Rulebook is printed on parchment-like stock. The spectacular Deathwatch Collector’s Edition, has an MSRP of $199.95, but is expected to soar quickly as collector's rush to aquire their own copies.

 

The Deathwatch Collector’s Edition also includes a personalized copy of the Apocryphal Oath, inscribed with the Space Marine name and chapter of the owner’s choice, with the names hand lettered by a professional calligrapher.  This personalization service is available from our store, but only for a limited time: please contact our associates for further details.
